LUI$A is a recording artist, songwriter and producer who celebrates diversity, versatility and creativity through music. Born Luisa Boshnjaku in New York, Long Island, to musician parents, she was always around music. She started posting covers on Youtube since 2014.

 

In 2017 LUI$A started posting beats on Soundcloud, they were mostly inspired by Trip-Hop music and EDM. During her teenage years, LUI$A started focusing on experimenting with her sound and adding pop elements to her Soul and R&B oriented songs.

 

This would help her make a virtual performance on VFILES PTA Remote Sessions which were hosted by Abby Jasmine at the time. Her debut EP “Limelight” was later released in 2021. Her music is a mix of many genres like contemporary r&b, dance-pop, funk and soul, which is heavily influenced by the urban life of Kosovo and New York.

                         

By combining both of these cultures she presents a modern and diverse style, which can be showcased in her songs. LUI$A hopes to bring a sound that is contemporary, yet impactful and distinctive to the mainstream scene.
